The appeal here is build quality and design rather than a value argument: if you want headphones that feel like a piece of hardware rather than an accessory, this is the deal to take. If sound quality per dollar is the only thing that matters to you, the Bose pick below is the stronger buy.

Bose built its reputation on active noise cancellation, and the QuietComfort line is still the reference point reviewers compare every other pair against. At $229 this undercuts the Dyson pair above by $20 while offering noise cancellation most owners rate ahead of it. The tradeoff is aesthetics: these look like headphones, not an industrial design statement. For anyone commuting, flying, or working in an open office, that tradeoff barely matters.
