This is the deal to beat today. Arlo’s floodlight camera normally runs $150; at $50 it undercuts Ring’s and Google Nest’s wired floodlight cameras. The camera shoots 2K video and pairs it with two adjustable floodlights bright enough that reviewers singled out nighttime footage as the standout feature. The camera module swivels so you can aim it independently of the lights. We checked reviews beyond Amazon as well: Home Depot and Best Buy both carry this camera, and buyers there call the motion detection "phenomenal" and rate the floodlights ahead of competitors that cost twice as much. One catch: recording needs an Arlo Secure subscription at $10 to $30 a month. That subscription is the decision point. Blink advertises two years of battery life on two AA batteries, based on 10 short motion events a day. In one hands-on test, the cameras drained 12% in four days of constant motion, which works out to roughly a month in a busy spot, not two years. Stick to lithium batteries; the same test found alkaline batteries died in four days. You can buy a battery extension pack separately to stretch the interval. The most common complaint isn’t battery, though: some reviewers report the Sync Module drops its connection and knocks cameras offline without warning. Video quality and night vision get praise even from reviewers who ran into that problem. At $105 for five cameras, it fits a side yard, shed, or driveway you check occasionally rather than a front door you depend on. Listed through July 5.

Shark Matrix Clean Robot Vacuum — $270 (55% off)

The Shark Matrix uses LiDAR instead of camera-based mapping, so it builds a map of your home without recording video, a privacy advantage over camera-based robot vacuums. Reviewers highlight the jump in daytime detail, HDR handling, and a true-color low-light mode that keeps color in dim conditions instead of switching to black-and-white. The battery is quick-release, so recharging means popping it off rather than fighting with a mounting bracket, and one hands-on test measured six to twelve months per charge, with a spare battery cutting downtime to seconds. It still charges over Micro-USB rather than USB-C, the one dated spec on a 2026 device. Recorded video history sits behind a Ring Protect subscription, so factor that in if reviewing footage matters to you.
